IF IN DOUBT

"We have been told Manchester United are no good for
football that we are the demons of the world, we get every
break and have too much power.

"In truth we have not won a decision at the Premier League
since it started. Every time we vote for something, everyone
else votes against us so we have to face all that kind of
thing.

"To my mind what Chelsea are doing is good for them and what
Arsenal are doing is good for them, and if the rest are
suffering then I don't think you can blame Arsenal or
Chelsea or Manchester United - but we'll get the blame
anyway.

"It will not last forever. You would expect Liverpool
definitely to emerge at some point. They have got the
capability, they have the support base and a massive
history. They maybe have had a bad start to the season but
they could have a good finish, last year they had a good
start and a bad finish, but you never know.

"I would hope we would have something to say about that. Our
ambition is to win the league, and Arsenal's ambition is to
win the league and because Chelsea have bought the players
they have bought, it doesn't mean they are going to win the
league, but it does give them a good chance.

"It doesn't look as if anyone else can win it that's for
sure. Newcastle and Liverpool have the capability to go on a
run, but I don't think it will be good enough to win the
league. It could get them into the top four or five because
at the moment they have got teams like Charlton and
Birmingham above them and you would expect Liverpool and
Newcastle to be up there at the end of the season."
