The Times reports that Sir Alex Ferguson has complained to Keith Hackett, the head of the Professional Game Match Officials Board, to say how he thinks Cristiano Ronaldo is the victim of prejudice among referees. SAF claims referees fail to protect him as he has a reputation as a diver. “They're kicking lumps, but you find referees saying, ‘Oh, it's only Ronaldo' ,” Ferguson said. “I brought it to the attention of referees' chief Keith Hackett and he did nothing.”
