However, due to the 23-year-old's swift recovery, the manager could possibility give him a reserve team start against Swansea City at Altrincham on Thursday.
"My head is good," explained Hernandez.
"I feel better now. I have been training with the team for three or four days but I don't know when I will be back in the squad.
"I always say they are the decisions for the manager. Only he can answer that.
"I just need to be fit and working."
