GIVE YOUTH A CHANCE

Now at Watford he said:

"It's getting more difficult but I don't see why the youngsters can't come through there. Sometimes when you're stuck in the reserves at United you feel unappreciated. You want to show what you can do but with the calibre of players there you don't always get that chance. It only became clear to me within the last six months I wasn't going to get into United's first team and so it seemed stupid to stay. I needed first-team football."
