Giggs:
"It's pleasing to score the number of goals against the
standard of opposition we have been facing on this tour -
but maybe we should have got even more. On the whole,
though, we have to be pleased with the way the trip went.
"The matches have been far harder than we would normally
encounter at this stage of pre-season. But we have come
through them with four wins and we have to be delighted with
that. Also, we hope there will be an added benefit when the
Premiership season starts in a fortnight - because we will
be used to playing in matches at a high tempo.
"We enjoyed the whole experience. We were surprised with the
welcome we received, not just from Manchester United fans
but also from people who have maybe not watched football
before. We also tried to do a little bit for youngsters who
look upon people like us as heroes. We hope they enjoyed us
being here as much as we did.
"It's not just the matches either. The training has gone
well, and we really feel prepared. Now we can't wait for the
real thing to start.”
