GIGGS PLAYS IT SAFE
Ryan Giggs is refusing to take any chances with the hamstring injury, which has kept him out of Manchester United's last three games.
The 31-year-old admits it has been frustrating to miss out on the action, particularly because he was playing to the peak of his powers before the latest setback.
But having virtually conquered the hamstring problems, which blighted the middle stages of his career, Giggs is not willing to put his long-term fitness at risk by returning before he is ready.
"You have to be careful," he said.
"It is different training to playing. I have been trying to look at the situation positively and think at least I am getting a rest. In all probability, I would not have played the first game against Exeter - so I have not missed that many games”.
"We had a lot of games in a short period of time before my injury, so I hope I will come back fresher and pick up where I left off."
