GIGGS LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEW SEASON

"It was all doom and gloom when we didn't win anything the
season before last but he way we won the title last year was
brilliant for everyone.

"If we had gone two seasons without winning anything it
would have been very disappointing but the manner we won the
championship has given everyone a lift and hopefully that
will see us through the season."

Ryan also praised Van Nistelrooy, and said that he thinks
that he’ll be even better next season:

"Ruud is getting better every time he plays. His scoring
record is unbelievable but it's not just that, his all-round
play is improving as well. He is bringing other people into
the game more often now and his work-rate up front is
amazing."
