“I'm really not too worried about whether I'm scoring or not at the moment as long as the team keeps producing the right results. It's really not important who gets their name on the scoresheet and although you always want to be in among the goals yourself, it's how the team is playing that matters. I'm sure with a bit of luck the goals will come again soon. Every season I aim to get into double figures and with seven to my name so far, I'm confident I can reach my target. A lot has been made of the fact I haven't scored in the Premiership at Old Trafford since the year we won the title. But it doesn't bother me if I'm still weighing in with my share of goals. Looking back at the season so far, I've been delighted with the number of games I've been involved in because my hamstring hasn't really given me any problems.”
”A lot of my other seasons with the club have been badly disrupted because I've had to miss blocks of matches to allow the hamstring to settle down. But this season has been one of my most consistent in terms of appearances. It's one of the big regrets of my career that I've had to sit out too many games because of the hamstring. But this year has been a different story and I hope I can be a virtual ever-present between now and the end of the season."
