Giggs scored the ony goal of the game against West Ham on Sunday (his first in the league this season) making him the only current Premier League player to score in every season since the Premier League began in 1992.

"After all, he has been involved most of the season and has been playing incredibly well.
"The Manchester United star has always been a fantastic player and a great advert for his club and the game in general in terms of the way he's conducted himself.
"He still is a top class, exciting player who has the ability to play anywhere on the pitch, he is that good.
"Whether he is on the wing or in the centre of midfield, he's still a very important Manchester United player.
"Ryan's form warrants a place in the United team which is testament to what a great player he has been and still is."
