Gary Neville took his opportunity as Captain last night to remind the players left back in England of the job at hand. Talking about trying to win the Premiership he said:

'We simply cannot stand any more slip-ups. We have Arsenal and Liverpool coming up and cannot afford even to draw one of those games. We have to win them.

'But we must start a run before then. Eight points is just too big a gap at this stage of the season.

'We have to get that down to two or three. Then we will have Roy Keane and Nicky Butt back, while Ruud van Nistelrooy will also have returned from injury.'
