Queiroz, "The future is always exciting here. I believe that if we keep the core of our best players together we will have a very strong team for the next ten years. The age of our defenders is still young. Silvestre, Ferdinand, Brown, O'Shea, Heinze will grow up together as a defensive line and be able to play together for four or five years.
"Keane and Scholes are experienced in midfield but otherwise we have a lot of young players in that area. And our striking force is amazing. So we have great hopes, great dreams because the team has a lot of room to grow together.
"It is a pleasure to work with those players, especially when every week you see them grow up and reach a different level. They still have a lot to learn. They are young, they have a lot of room to grow up in but the best thing about them is the potential that they still have to grow up and develop.
"I think we can start to put the name of Kieran Richardson next to our best players. And there is no doubt that we have great hopes for Guiseppe Rossi, Gerard Pique and Phil Bardsley. This season we are going to put a programme in place to make our young players grow up more quickly and more consistently.
"At this moment in time we have five players out on loan and Kieran we can say is the latest product of our system and you can say that if every year we are able to bring through one player then it is a fantastic achievement.
"It is Manchester United's culture to develop our own players. That's our way of doing things, to create our own culture where we perpetuate the right mentality of the club in our young players. It is very important that they capture the values of this club early because those players will then keep it with them forever. We're very much investing work in that area."
It’s also our culture to play attractive, attacking football Carlos. But you didn’t seem arsed about casting that to one side did you?
