Diego, sporting his new Jordan/Beckham style locks: "I definitely do not want to leave Manchester United.
"I am aware of all the speculation about my future.
"But nobody at the club has yet to come up to me and tell me I’m being sold and I don’t want to be sold.
"I still believe I can do a good job for this club.
"I have proved in the past that when I get a decent run in the team I start scoring.
"The longest consecutive run of starts I’ve had is five last season.
"I just need another chance like that to show the manager and the fans I can be part of the future.
"I’ve always enjoyed my time in Manchester and I want it to carry on."
