From the News of the World:
Leeds United are investigating a number of transfer deals and proposed moves negotiated during David O'Leary's time at Elland Road.
The Yorkshire club have received information alleging significant amounts of money may have gone astray through middlemen involved in some deals.
There is no suggestion that ex-manager O'Leary has done anything illegal or underhand and last night he said: "I've got nothing to hide-they can investigate me as much as they like."
But the club believe they have already uncovered evidence of skulduggery. The News of the World can reveal at least one agent has come clean to the club about how money was salted away.
And Leeds are now vigorously pursuing his evidence.
