United may be a point behind the Londoners with just three games to go, but Fletcher believes that last weekends games will be at the back of the minds of the Chelsea squad after they failed to beat Tottenham, just after United had beaten Man City.
United look set to go back to the top of the table if they manage to topple Tottenham at Old Trafford at the weekend and although Chelsea are only playing Stoke, they look like having to win their final three games to beat United to the title.
Fletcher told Sky Sports News: "They are the team leading the league and all the pressure is on them. We are just taking care of ourselves.
"They were in a situation where they might have felt they could have pulled away and be in a real strong position but they are not.
"We never thought it had gone but is was a disappointing time after the Blackburn game. It was an uphill struggle but it just shows you in one weekend things can change."
