"With the form of this team and the adrenalin in the club, sometimes you do not need to say much," he told The Sun.
"We have the will to win the title, the players to do it and the spirit in the camp. We have a great chance this year."
And after getting rid of Ruud van Nistelrooy he wasn't shy in putting a heavy burden on Louis Saha's shoulders.
"Given a full season there is no question Louis Saha will get over 20 goals," he claimed.
"He has everything right in his game - pace, heading ability and two good feet.
"He did not really start playing until November last year but had a period when he scored 10 in 11 games, which is a great return."
