Speculation hit fever pitch on Saturday when the United boss went along to Crven Cottage where the player was on display as his side Werder Bremen took on Fulham.
But speaking after the Community Shield games against Chelsea at Wembley on Sunday, Fergie told Sky Sports: "I think he's interested a lot of teams but at this moment in time I trust the ones I've got.
"I think people recognise the confidence we have in the younger players coming through at the club, and we'll definitely stick by that.
"We got to have a good look at Fulham. We've got them two weeks yesterday and under a new manager you always want to see what they're going to change."
