Fergie Facing FA Rap

Fergie remonstrated with match official Mike Dean after the 4-3 home win about a foul commited by Hull's Michael Turner on Michael Carrick which the United boss believed should have led to Turner receiving a second yellow card and a sending off.

A statement on the FA's official website reads: "Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been charged with improper conduct in relation to his behaviour towards referee Mike Dean following the match against Hull City on 1st November."

Ferguson has until Wednesday, 19th November to respond to the charge.
