Season Finale
"It was fantastic, some of the stuff. We were playing an Everton team who've been absolutely fantastic this season. I thought for around twenty minutes that we were in for a hard match and they were looking very good, Everton. But we got a goal at the right time from David Beckham and second half we were much better. Confidence is a big factor obviously, you saw that in the last 10-15 minutes, we played with massive confidence."
Players Rediscovered Their Hunger
"It was a great test for all of us. They say the beauty of football is that it is a learning process, no matter how old you are, how much experience you have or however much you've achieved. With all that you're learning something all of the time. I think through our own experience we made some good decision early in the season. Maybe they needed to be reminded of the excitement they've brought the fans. It's been 2 years and no matter how you look at it 2 years is a long timefor footballers. I'm glad for them and I'm glad for the fans."
Tribute to Blanc
"I'm pleased for the ones who have their first medal. For Seba, for Laurent Blanc - I'm so pleased for him in his last game and you saw how the players acted at the end of the game and lifted him up. That was a marvellous moment for Manchester United, it tells you how much they appreciate great players and although he didn't play a lot of games this season, he's played a great part in the past 2 years for Manchester United."
2003/04 Season
"Next year we'll be really enthusiastic and everyone will be looking forward to it. I think we'll enjoy our summer better this year."
