Ferguson in the Sun:
“Our performances in the first half of the season were
terrific — then we lose Rio and all of a sudden we are back-
pedalling. We have to adjust to the fact that Rio is not
there. Maybe the sense of loss is bigger than the actual
loss of the player.
“We have to handle it. We have lost Rio and there is nothing
we can do about it. So let’s get on with it. Arsenal are in
good form at the moment — but they will have a blip, we all
have them. But we cannot just sit around waiting for them to
make a mistake — we have to do something about it.
“There is probably a little lack of confidence which comes
from losing games and goals. But there is no way back for us
now. We have to attack in every game because I believe there
is enough goals in this side to win every game.”
