"With the players we have, we shouldn't be in the position we're in. It's been very disappointing.
"We'd like to be sitting at the top, looking down on everybody else, but it isn't that way at the moment.
"There's always room for improvement, and now we need a lot of improvement all over the park.
"Each game and each training session we have the opportunity to do that.
"We're not where we want to be, are we? It's not looking pretty, I don't like looking at the league table when we're not in the top two at this stage of the season.
"But people pointed out we were in this position last time we won the league so that.
"We have some very experienced players, as well as younger ones. Hopefully that experience will see us through at the end of the season.
"I'll always back the manager. He's been so successful and has so much experience.
"We've had four strikers before, and that was the most successful period for Manchester United.
"The manager has had experience of that position so I'm 100 per cent with the manager.
"The other day in the dressing-room after the 0-0 draw with Manchester City it was like we had lost 3 or 4-0.
"No one was pleased. We were walking off the pitch devastated not to have won the game, especially after the way we had dominated it.
"We need to improve, not just the forwards, and hopefully we can put the ball in the back of the net.
"I feel good and I'm just delighted to be back.
"It's like being a kid again, being back at school for the first few days, you're really excited. That feeling hasn't changed for me.
"I'm excited to be going out there on to the pitch, especially at Old Trafford.
"I'm delighted to be here playing with these people week in week out.
"Obviously, the results could be better but I'm happy to be back and want to just continue playing."
