Leigh RMI were one of the first clubs to contact FC United to offer help and assistance in setting up the new venture and both clubs are looking forward to a good crowd.
FC United manager Karl Marginson is putting the finishing touches to his squad and is relishing the challenge of the new season.
Last week Marginson’s fringe players played a behind closed doors friendly against division one side Glossop North End and came away with a credible 3-3 draw from a match that observers thought FC United should have won.

‘Entrance for the Leigh match is by payment at the ground Adults £10 juniors under 16/concessions £5.
Turnstiles 13 and 14 on the Mick Martyn side of the ground will be open from 1200pm with other turnstiles on all sides of the ground open from 1pm.
Refreshments can be obtained from both the Mick Martyn and
Souvenir programmes will be on sale price £3.
All proceeds from this game will be shared between the two clubs.’
