Just a quick update from the Fans Forum with a full report to follow later.
The club today finally agreed that loyalty should be a determining factor for the future distribution of away tickets.
The Fans Forum met immediately after the West Ham game with the meeting almost entirely devoted to the question of ticketing. IMUSA officers had met with Karl Evans, the Ticket Office Manager, a few weeks ago and put to him a proposal for how a loyalty scheme might be introduced. After some discussion internally within the club it appears that IMUSA's discussions have proved persuasive.
Last season the Fans Forum voted by over two to one in favour of an away ticket distribution scheme that rewarded loyalty but that view was effectively ignored, this year there was no opposition round the table.
The details are yet to be formulated but any loyalty scheme will be introduced in time for next season with Peter Kenyon saying at today’s meeting that ‘the club are committed to rewarding loyalty.’
