He saved two and scored the decisive penalty in a shoot out against Strasbourg in the French Cup
The man himself:
"It was tough for me today because six months without playing is tough," he said.
"It was a delicate situation with the penalty. I just didn't want to let my teammates down."
"I had been waiting to return to club football for so many weeks that I felt a lot of pressure," Barthez said afterwards.
"I felt like I was going back to the beginning of my career and I didn't want to disappoint the staff, the players and the fans."
