United midfielder David Beckham made over £2million away from football in the year up to April 2002.

Beckham has his own public limited company, which has posted its results for the period April 2002- April 2002.

They show Footwork Productions - of which the Manchester United star is the only director and shareholder - saw income rise 15% to £3.53million and paid Beckham a salary of £2.29million, a rise of £13,000.
