However, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson doesn't believe either player is ready to play a full ninety minutes of the match at Upton Park on Sunday.
"They won't start the game," Fergie has said.
"They'll possibly be on the bench. They're not quite 100 per cent but they're not far away."
Elsewhere, Gary Neville will not be amongst the squad named for the Hammers game as he is unwell so Wes Brown is likely to replace him at right-back.
"Gary hasn't recovered from his illness, which caused him to come off last week against Everton," Fergie added.
"Wes has a bruised foot from a tackle near the end of that game but hopefully he'll be okay for Sunday.
"I would imagine Wes will replace Gary at right back, which obviously gives us a little bit of experience in the back four."
