"It will be billed as revenge, but that is not the way we will play it," Kenyon told BBC Radio Five Live. "We have played them and Olympiakos before so we know what we are up against."
He added: "The game with Maccabi Haifa, looks like it will be played in Nicosia, so no real travel problems.
"Overall we have got to be pretty pleased with the group."
He added: "I don't think any team can be taken for granted and that is not the way we will be approaching it.
"We are experienced in this competition and I think that experience will come through and tell.
"We are well prepared and come early September we will be ready."
The Red Devils kick-off their bid to reach the Old Trafford final against Maccabi Haifa at home on September 18, with the "away" match pencilled in for Cyprus on October 29.
And for the Israelis, it is more than a glamour tie.
"This is so exciting for us. It is fantastic and no-one can believe it," said Maccabi Haifa general manager Itamar Chizic.
"Of course it is sad we have to play our home games in Cyprus, but that does not detract from our happiness at getting Manchester United.
"This is what we wanted. It is a miracle."
