"I am very happy at United. I am playing and training with
some great players and that is really helping me learn about
the game. Getting that kind of experience is one of the
major reasons I came here and I am certainly a better player
than when I first came.
"And, while it is frustrating not to be able to start many
games, it is something you have to accept. All you can do is
keep training hard and make sure you are ready when the
manager decides he needs you."
He accepts that Ruud will start in front of him, and says
that he is the best player he has ever played with:
"There is no doubt about it. Ruud seems to score every time
he plays, which is so good for him and the team."
He has also given Ronaldo some advice on how to settle in,
learn the language as soon as possible:
"Until he learns how to speak English it will be more
difficult for him than it was for me. I could tell people if
I wasn't feeling well or what part of my body was sore, so
he needs to be able to do that, but on the pitch he looks
really good."
