The MEN reports:
‘The Manchester derby is among a number of high-profile league fixtures at risk from an agreement between English soccer's major governing bodies over FA Cup replay dates.
‘With a full round of Premiership matches scheduled for the week beginning January 31 immediately after the fourth round ties and England taking on Holland in a Villa Park friendly on February 9, there is no suitable midweek slot for replays ahead of the fifth round on February 19.
‘The Football Association, wary of the potential for fixture chaos in the latter stages of the competition, have reached agreement with the Premier League and Football League that any club that loses players to international fixtures will play fourth-round replays on the weekend of February 12.’
