Manchester United have been offered German World Cup sensation Miroslav Klose for a cut-price £5million by Kaiserslautern.
The Bundesliga strugglers have been told they need to sell their most valuable asset to help meet a tax bill of £30m and are aware that Sir Alex Ferguson has beentracking Klose since he scored six goals in the World Cup.
Across Manchester, City boss Kevin Keegan has also been linked with Klose.
