Christian Eriksen has said it is ‘nice’ to be at Manchester United and is grateful for the extremely positive reaction from fans her has experienced so far.
Having been a United target in the past, Eriksen joined the club on a free transfer last month following a successful short-term spell at Brentford to resurrect his career.
The Dane had a chance to play in the pre-season friendly with Atletico Madrid in Oslo at the end of July and went on to complete the full 90 minutes against Brighton in the disappointing Premier League opener a week later.
Looking back on his first few weeks at the club, Eriksen appears to be settling well.
"It’s a good group of players and staff, and around the training ground it’s been nice to be here," he told ManUtd.com.
"It’s been a very, very nice reception from the fans – in the whole stadium, not only at the corners, but in general. It’s been a very heartfelt welcoming."

Eriksen also said it is possible to feel that things at Old Trafford are ‘special’ and ‘different’.
“It was special. It was a different colour shirt and a different vibe to it; a different support compared to normally when I played away [here]. But it’s a special place, and you feel the whole scenery, the whole stadium. It’s the Theatre of Dreams!” he explained.
