CAROLL'S CLEAN SHEET
Roy Carroll has admitted that he should have kept a clean sheet on Tuesday but he isn't going to let it affect him.
"It just came straight at me. I tried to get down on it but I should have done
better," he said.
"It is over now, we got the result we needed so let's get on with it."
"It was a fierce shot but it has happened.
"Now I just have to look ahead to the next game. You have to forget about it and get on with it. It's a mistake and you can't do anything about it now."
Of course with him making a mistake and still not signing a contract United have again been linked with both Edwin van der Sar and Mark Schwarzer.
