From The Guardian:
‘Yesterday's draw prompted wild scenes of excited anticipation at both clubs, with those in the west Lancashire village side's clubhouse left pinching themselves at the prospect of progress. "People were jumping up and down hugging one another," said Burscough's manager Derek Goulding, whose part-time side with an average home gate of 335 saw off Gillingham in the first round. "I know we've got a very difficult game to overcome before we can start celebrating, but it's amazing to think we're even within touching distance of an absolute dream."
Burscough's chairman Chris Lloyd admitted he would consider alternative venues should his side play United. "We've got to get past Burton yet and, if we do, I'd love to stage the tie at Victoria Park, but we have to be practical," he said. "The ground only holds 2,300 and the level of interest a tie against Manchester United would generate could well deem it impossible to stage the game at home. We would then have to look at suitable alternatives. Anfield and Goodison Park are only down the road so we could well go down that route."
