BUILD A BONFIRE

City captain Sylvain Distin says the derby is nothing special for him and then he does. Looks like he has spent too long near King Kev.

"I know that the derby is a special day for the fans. I know that it is one of the first fixtures they look for,"

"For me it is another game that I want to win. You have to try and treat is as
another game of football.

"I know it is a special game and we need the points and you have to remember it is still only three points that are on offer just as they were on Monday against
Norwich.

"Of course it will be more difficult but it is another game that is there to be won
and that is what I want to do. I want to win as many games as possible and I will prepare for the derby mentally as I would for any match."

And to prove that it's 'just another game' he goes on.

"We will not be working harder for United than we did for Norwich. We have to
maintain the same high level of training every week and that's what we will be
doing.

"Of course we know a lot about them and of the skills of Ronaldo for instance but we won't have Ronaldo in front of us on the training ground so how can we
prepare specifically for him?

"We are aware of what United have in terms of players but as a footballer in the Premiership you always have to be ready to face up to players of their calibre
that's what you want as a footballer.

"As captain of Manchester City I am looking forward to leading the side out again in a derby and I want another win!"

Yeah, nice one Sylvia.
