Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has called the turgid 0-0 draw with Watford at Old Trafford "just one of the those days".
The Red Devils were surprisingly held to a draw at home by the relegation candidates, largely because they missed a boatload of clear-cut chances.
Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo (who has now scored just one goal in 10 games this year) were the main culprits on the day, missing gilt-edged chance after gilt-edged chance.
Speaking after the game to the club's official website, Fernandes discussed what were wrong for Man Utd on Saturday.
''We are really disappointed with the result," he said. "I think the team performed well enough to get another result.
"We tried [to find the net] but the ball seemed to bounce off every player, our players, their players. "As I've said before it was just one of those days where the ball wouldn't go in. Unfortunately for us it was just one point."
After lamenting the draw at Old Trafford, the Portuguese midfielder was keen to look ahead at the club's goals for the remainder of the season:
''As I have said many times, we have dropped points on third place again. I think that's the main thing for us, as we could be much closer to them [Chelsea].
"However, now is not the time to start thinking about how many points we should have now or how many points we should have in the end. We have to look to the next game, to win the game and to get three points again."
