Supporters attending the recent Debreceni game will have noticed the absence of flags and banners from the front of the Stretford End tier two.
The owners of the previous banners - which have hung from tier two for the past four seasons – have made the decision to withdraw them. However, the club remains keen for fans to continue using this area to display their flags and banners.
"We are disappointed by the decision of the groups that owned the previous banners not to continue displaying them," said United’s Director of Communications Phil Townsend.
"The banners added colour and character to the Stretford End. We are happy for supporters to continue displaying their banners and encourage them to get in touch to display their own flags or with their creative suggestions."
