Aussie Rugby League have been hit by roasting scandals in the last two weeks or so

Australian roast scandals at Melbourne Storm and Canterbury Bulldogs are 'just team-building'. 'You don't just bonk them and leave them. You pass them on. It's a team event,' says an unnamed rugby-league source in The Australian . 'The spit-roast was the one the players like because they can look at each other while it's happening and have a laugh. It's about the degradation of women. You feel like you're bulletproof and that you can almost get away with murder. Women to many of these players are just vessels to be filled.'

Officials put women off bringing charges, says the source, by reminding them that in the witness box they would be portrayed 'as sluts'. 'Then the players go into this spoilt-brat victim mentality where they feel sorry for themselves because everyone is out to get them...
