"We owe it to everybody involved in the club to get a win - the fans, ourselves and the coaches.
"When you lose a game like we did on Saturday, you are going to get criticised, so you have to take it on the chin, get on with it and bounce back.
"We are fortunate to have a game where we can put it right. Not only that, it is important we win because it would put us in such a strong position in the group.
"Every player has their own personal pride and we were hurt after Saturday’s game.
"Since I got into the first team four seasons ago, there has always been so much criticism of certain players, the team and individuals.
"But you just have to take it because it is part of being at such a successful club. We are just thankful we have an immediate chance to rectify the situation."
