Beckham injury update

England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson says he now rates David Beckham at "50-50" to start against Sweden.

Sven, who also revealed that his captain could be back in full training by tomorrow, said: "I have not thought about sending David home at all. I wouldn't dream of doing anything like that.

"Everything is going as plannedand we are just hoping it stays that way. Everyone saw that he was running fine on the pitch before the game.

"I spoke to David afterwards and he said he felt no pain. As long as he knows the bone has healed, he won't be afraid.

"The last X-ray was very positive. We are happy. David should be back in full training by the end of the week, maybe even Tuesday."
