French international keeper Fabien Barthez makes his European return for Olympique Marseille on Thursday when the 2004 finalists travel to UEFA Cup holders CSKA Moscow in the pick of the opening group stage ties.
The 34-year-old World Cup winner kept a clean sheet in Saturday's 1-0 league win over PSG, his first game after serving a six-month ban for spitting at a referee.
Barthez is expected to wear the captain's armband for the Group F match, in which Marseille will be without defender and captain Frederic Dehu who is nursing a heel injury.
