Manchester United are interested in signing Liverpool starlet Chris Sanner, but the youngster looks set for a move to the Nationwide League.
The 16-year-old goalkeeper is highly rated at Anfield and has been offered terms to stay, however the Welsh youth international has decided to move on.
However, The Reds would be loathed to lose one of the young stars to their arch-rivals and the player's agent Wayne Elsey thinks a move to Old Trafford looks unlikely.
"United really like him and are keen, but Liverpool would not be keen and are likely to ask for a lot of compensation," Elsey told planetfootball.com.
"He is more likely to go elsewhere and both Stoke and Leicester have spoken to Liverpool about him.
"He is a great lad, who has enormous ability and I think he will get a good deal."
