The Evening Snooze reports:
'Officials at Oldham Athletic have set up a hotline where fans can shop terrace nuisances by text message. Supporters of the League One outfit will be able to report anyone they feel is guilty of anti-social behaviour in the stands.
'They are being asked to text the seat number of culprits to the hotline during the match. That message will be relayed to stewards patrolling the area who will confront the yobs. Offenders will be given a warning and could even be expelled from the ground.
'Club chief executive Alan Hardy said: "We did a survey and asked families what stopped them coming back to watch . One of the main reasons was the bad behaviour and bad language of some of our fans. As a result, we are making a stern effort to clean up our act because young supporters are the future of this club."
Bad language at football. Whatever next?
