Paris St-Germain coach Vahid Halilhodzic has underlined the club's determination to maximise their profits from the sale of the Argentinian defender Gabriel Heinze, who is wanted by United.

“We are now waiting for Manchester to make a bid. We are determined to sell Heinze as expensively as possible because he had a big season, probably his best season. He is also well paid at PSG and he has got a very big potential. Why should we sell at a low price?
“On the pitch Heinze is a fighter, he is a winner, but in life he is rebellious. It was not easy every day with him but I am the coach and I don't have to justify my choices. There is no problem; I know how to do the job.”
