"I am my own man and do not want comparison with players like Ronaldinho because he is the king," said Anderson in the Daily Star.

"The directors at United always made me feel confident that the move would go through and said there was nothing to worry about, although there was an appeal.

"This is a dream move, one I could not reject. The chance to play with Cristiano Ronaldo was enough to bring me to United. He is a worldwide star.
"I can't wait to set up a goal for him. He is a spectacular player who has improved so much since he has been at United and I want to do the same."
