From The Premiership site:
Manchester United fans proved their over-whelming support for club skipper Roy Keane yesterday when hundreds turned out to meet him at an all:sports in-store signing.
It was thought that Keane's controversial autobiography might have disillusioned some supporters, but those fears proved unfounded when over 500 fans queued down Market Street in Manchester to meet their hero.
Keane was taking part in an autograph signing session to promote the new all:sports store, and appeared courtesy of his boot sponsor, Diadora.
The 30-year-old Irishman didn't disappoint his people and received an enthusiastic reception from the crowd - most of whom had been queuing all morning.
Kirsten Turrie-Connor, all:sports' Head of Communications said: 'Roy received a superb reception from the United faithful who visited the store. He seemed to really enjoy meeting the fans and it was great that he managed to take time off to take part in the autograph session.'
