"The first 45 minutes in Lyon was probably the worst we have played all season.
"But we did come back and show good spirit character, something that we have continued to show throughout the season.
"We are not trying to gloss over things but for everybody saying we have been on a terrible run, we have only lost two matches.
"But we realise we have a difficult job on Tuesday because Lyon are a very good team.
"They got to the quarter-finals last year and we have to make sure we are at our very best.
"We have produced some of our best form at home in Europe this season and we hope to be able to do that on Tuesday.
"Our main goal on Tuesday is to secure qualification for the latter stages of the European Cup.
"Any trip to Turkey is difficult and we wouldn't want to go there needing to draw. We would like to have it tied up on Tuesday night."
