Barcelona president Joan Laporta has received written confirmation from
United regarding the availability of one Ruud van Nistelrooy. He confirmed
yesterday that

"We received in writing a communication from Manchester saying that he's
not for sale,"

"Van Nistelrooy is a great player but we have never contemplated his
