Fergie said:

"Gaby doesn’t want to be ruled out at the moment but I do not see him playing.

“Gary is a concern because he is not training. We have got medical people working on him and we will give him every chance but it is not looking good.

“It is very disappointing because they are both experienced players. I particularly feel for Gaby. He has been fantastic for us this season, he’s a real winner and he deserves to play but I do feel it’s beyond him.”

Van Nistelrooy:

"United against Arsenal is the best final you could imagine. It's the one everyone wanted. There's a big rivalry between us and it's going to be one hell of a match.
“There is history between the two clubs and there have been problems between us in the past. And it's hard not to pay attention to that because everybody is speaking about it. But we need to concentrate on playing a good game. That's the most important thing. The whole world will be watching the final and we have to make sure it's a great football spectacle.

"It's important to finish the season with a good feeling. We know from last season that it's important to end with a trophy after you've had some disappointments.

"In that sense, the FA Cup final is everything to us now and we know that winning it will put smiles on the faces of our supporters and make it a nice summer before we come back."

Ferdinand:

"The FA Cup Final is more special for me because of what happened. As far as I'm concerned, I've never been to a cup final before. I went there and watched the game, but it was a really weird feeling.”

Kenny Sanson on Vieira:

“Patrick knows exactly what he is doing by digging at Keane. He wants to try and put him off his game as much as possible and get him to lose his focus.

“They’re going to have a real battle and I’m sure plenty of words are going to be exchanged. The bust-up in the tunnel at Highbury was something that has happened for years in football. They are two winners and real battlers

“When these two meet, there are always great battles and Saturday won’t be any different. There is a grudging respect between the two but Patrick has been cunning by talking about Keane. I can’t wait.”
