Further to the disgraceful treatment of United fans by stewards and police at Middlesbrough last month, some United fans now find themselves banned by the plc due to the fact that they were ejected at the Riverside.
It appears no proof of any offence has been supplied and there will be no right of appeal. Some people have received the letters yet weren’t even sat in the seats allocated to them, having agreed to swap places with fellow fans. Red Issue has taken this matter up with IMUSA and would advise anyone who has received one of the letters to take independent legal advice and get in touch with us at redissue@btinternet.com

Middlesbrough v United
It has been brought to the attention of the club by Middlesbrough safety personnel that the occupant of the seats supplied to you for the above game was ejected for persistent standing/disorderly behaviour. I have no alternative therefore to inform you that you will not be able to apply for away matches in future.
Yours sincerely
