"I was impressed with the way West Ham played on such a big stage in the play-off final.
"But what really had an impact on me was seeing the celebrations outside Upton Park the next day. It highlighted the fantastic support for the club. At Manchester United I’ve been lucky enough to play on some very big stages and, hopefully, I can use that experience to help West Ham.
"Getting promoted from the Championship is very tough but, with their resources and support, I don’t see why West Ham cannot survive. It’s a challenge."
